my teg have starting problem....
about 3weeks ago i tried to go some where
and i turned my key to start the engine.
it seem try to start the engine but engine does not start.
like when you turn ur key over to start the engine before that it makes sound
and then engine is on..
but mine just keep making that geek geek geeek sound
and does not start...when i try like lots times..
then it starts....
oh my teg is 98 2dr mileage is 170'000 around like tat.
and before owner told me she changed the new batttery ...
so i dont thik its the battery problem
and i tune it up like 10months ago. change all spark plug and wire..

i know what your problem is.
Its the main relay, connects your ECU ot the fuel pump and starter or something like that, the heat causes the relay to expand and contract and after a while it just shrinks itself away from the contacts. This just needs to be replaced.

yeah, not really understanding here either. are you saying that the car is cranking but not running? or are you saying it makes funny noises while TRYING to crank and never gets a full strong crank? they are 2 completely different things and will yield different troubleshooting steps.

ok, sounds like ignition or fuel delivery problem. when you turn your key to ON, listen for the fuel pump to run and main relay to click on the off after the pressure is built in the fuel rail. if you turn the key to ON (without cranking) and its silent, you have a main relay or ECM problem. if you hear the relay click, but no fuel pump sound, check the fuel pump and connections. if you hear all of that and its not starting after, look into ignition. check for spark while you are cranking. no spark, start troubleshooting backwards from the sparkplug to the ECM.
