Actuallly what is happening is VTEC is engaging from the RPM that i set it at on the VAFC, however, the little VTEC indicator thingy on the VAFC which you can monitor when your car is in VTEC or not does not show the car to be in VTEC until 5800 rpms. Please help!

Make sure you're looking at the Vto and not the Vti. The Vti will never change no matter where you set the VAFC (thats the siganl from the ECU).

 

Yes i am looking at VTo and not VTi. I thought that might be it for a sec no luck yet

Are you absolutley sure you're looking at VTo and not VTi?? I find it hard to belive you changed it on the AFC and it will engage where you set it to, but the AFC won't show the output signal.. doesn't make sense?

 

Man i dont know what is going on with it. I noticed this morning when i was driving that all is back to normal now. Guess there was nothing wrong with it. I do know that it wasn't showing VTEC was engaged until 5800 on the VAFC. That was my question. But now it is working correctly. I put the ECU back into place and hopefully everything will be smooth sailing from here on out.
