Default Need quick answer: Rubber mount + bolt for AEM CAI

How does the bolt w/ the rubber mount around it that bolts directly to the frame come out?? Is there a nut behind it that I have to screw off, or is it a bolt w/ no head that simply threads into the hole in the frame. I can't get this sucker out? Anyone dealt w/ this before? Thanks

did you you remove the nut on top already? i believe you have to unscrew the whole thing from the frame.

Yeah, it is a stud that simply threads into a nut welded to the frame. Try spraying some liquid penetrant on the top/bottom.

If you have already removed the nut that sits on top of it, then all you have to do is twist. It simply screws into the frame.

Thanks guys, it must just be rusted into the threaded hole. I'll hit it w/ some wd40 and take it from there
