Is anyone running with a GSR Skunk2 intake manifold with a GSR throttlebody and cable???? If so let me know how ya do it(if there is any tricks to it that is) PLZ.

How you do what? Run the cable?

Run it accross the firewall and have it connected to the throttle body. Pretty simple.

 

no what i mean is is that i keep seeing that ur suppose to buy the type-r throttle cable change the GSR throttle body pully. i wanna know if u can get away without doing this.

 

okay, im not sure because i changed the pulley, got itr bracket and itr throttle cable, but from what i hear you can use the gsr bracket system and be okay. its going to look funky though

 

just put the gsr throttle body on and run the same cable works like how it would on the stock manifold

 

It works, I have the same setup you are asking about.

 

Since the skunk2 manifold is flatter than the stock snail GSR manifold. When you re-use the GSR throttle cable the way it is positioned it has a big U in it, if you keep the same throttle body pulley (IT works, thats whats on mine, but its ugly) When you use the ITR cable +bracket (mounts on the skunk2 mani) + early civic throttle cable pulley, it mounts straight across.

 

Reason i was asking is cuz i have a str intake manifold and it has no where to bolt on the bracket for the type-r throttle cable. I asked about the skunk2 cuz its almost the same and more ppl have that than the str. thankx ya'll
