itll be a little quicker. I put a b20 in my integra after I hydrolocked my ls engine, and the torque was much more useable for daily driving. quarter mile wise though, it won't make too much of a difference if u keep the ls tranny.

Good for a replacement motor, I would be more hesitant to just Swap one in if you have a perfectly fine Ls

Depending on how much money you have, you can build a nice T3 turbo kit that will give you more power and still keep everything streetable.

I've seen a few articles where stock ls motor with a turbo kit ran 12's. i would invest in a turbo kit instead. around my area everyone invest in vtec but those ls motors can hold their own. and with turbo daaammmmnnn!

The B20 will give you more low end torque. I've heard that the B20 has weak sleeves and sometimes cracks with improper engine building. You also can't rev as high as the B16 or B18C motors.

i bought a 95 gsr with a blown headgasket. instead of replacing the gasket i bought a b20b long block and turboed it. im making 190hp/167tq @5lbs stock exhaust. it was making about 114hp not boosted.

when it wasnt boosted i ran a 15.7@87mph with the stock gsr header, testpipe, and a cheap intake arm with an aem filter.

i think the 99 is the higher compression b20. my integra has everything minus the p/s.

if you are doing it to smoke some people and only plan on running the b20 stock then you arent going to be going a whole hell of a lot faster than you are now. Why not spend some money on a mild ls turbo, if your looking for something mild a quick get a greddy turbo kit. They are simple, safe and make a decent improvement in power.

I like my B20 in my DA. The stock b18 was sickly and the b20 was only $835 shipped from HMO with 27k miles.

I have measured my gas mileage the last three tanks and i got;
1) 35 MPG
2) 32 MPG
3) 28 MPG

Tank 1 and 2 were mainly freeway speeds - 60-70 mph @ 3-4k RPM
Tank 3 was more spirited driving with highway mixed in 70-85 mph @ 3.5-4.5k RPM

This is a completely stock 1990 RS with the B20(all new tune-up parts) the only mod.

civic duty. doing good on mpg I can't seem to break the 30"s no matter how I drive. city/hwy is pretty much the same for me 28-29.
I have a b20z with a 1990 teg tranny S1, tire dia = 22.76, in a 95 hb.
I had it at 75mph for the first time ever(hwy driving for about 1.5hrs), man the rpm gauge was between 3.8- 4k.
I can't figure out why my city/hwy mpg are so close, I would not mind 35mpg hwy.
