gsr bogging around 7k?
I just started driving my car after my gsr swap
it runs fine, nice and smooth
when i hit vtec it kicks hard, but arounf 7000 rpms it will start to bog and feels like it is loosing power
could it be a timing issue? or the chip that I am running in my ecu? or even a clogged oil passage
I never had this problem with my lsvtec motor

okie, so let me get this straight: car runs fine, vtec operation is normal (5500 rpm?) then at 7000 it starts to bog? i assume you have gone through the regular checklist? plugs/cap/rotor/fuel & air filters? when you say bog, does it cut in and out or just fall flat on it's face? if you let off the throttle, will it come back to life? more info is needed.
i have a brand new plugs, cap and rotor, vtec operation is normal, it is set at 5100 rpms with my vafc
the fuel filter and air filter are fine
it does not cut power or drop, when i get to 7000 it feels like it is not making anymore power, the tach needle begins to move very slow through the last 1000 rpms. that is my problem
