Default finally getting a transplant in the eg

finally getting a heart transplant in my eg coupe. Im dropping the single cam d16z and putting in a jdm b18c w/ lsd. Cant wait until i get my motor in roughly 2 weeks (on the way from hmotorsonline). It will probably be the slowest 2 weeks ever. Ill post pics of the swap when i get it. I think i made a good choice in going with the jdm b18c1 instead of the jdm b16.

I don't necessarily see the technical aspect behind this post. But nonetheless you'll have a lot of fun with your new motor. You definitely made a good choice choosing the b18c, over the puny b16a. I've decided to go with an h22a; that's just me. though.

you definatly made the right choice, i got the same motor, jdm b18c w/lsd from hmotors, great company btw. and anyway, i have that in my eg hatch, and its awsome, i went from a d15, i don't know the code, but it had 70 hp, and the bump up to 180, was friggin amazing. my buddy has a b16 coupe, and the b16 is a great motor, but between the two, the b18c is SO much better. anyway, theres my opnion

Wait, there's no such thing as a JDM B18C1. Are you getting a JDM GSR or a JDM type R? (both are B18C)

my best was 14.4 @ 98 with all season tires and really bad 60' times, i really think i can hit 13's with some good tires and launching practice. plus i have some mods this year, i have a skunk2 intake manifold, full exhaust, header, test pipe, chipped ecu and a burner and cam gears, i'm gonna dyno tune it soon, and i'm lookin at some azenis maybe. if that dosn't get me in the 13's i'm going to blow it up
