clutch question

Default clutch question

hey all, well finally my 15 year old oem clutch bit the dust, ive been looking on ebay, and found one, i wanted to see if any of you had any expereince with these.

I've worked with these guys and they were quick to ship. Its just a simple O.E. clutch made by exedy so its good. the flywheel is too lite in my opinion but thats up to you.

what exactly is the problem with a lightened flywheel? like i said, this was the stock clutch and everything so do they cause problems or?

ah ok then, i ordered it anyway, just because im in a bind, but i guess if i dont like it, i can always get the oem one resurfaced and put it back on, what causes it to be a hassle

It will be harder to feather the clutch and ease into the clutch smoothly. The engine will be more responsive to throttle, so it will rev up - and also lose revs - more quickly. Because the engine has less rotating mass, less inertia, you'll have to use more gas & finesse on uphill starts especially. You'll get used to it though
