Mixing clutch/flywheel - Quick Q
Ok. So i've never done this. My current clutch is gone, and I cant afford to replace it with the same one. I was gonna just use an exedy oem replacement, since its wallet friendly.
This is my question: My original clutch was a Competition Clutch stage 4 clutch and flywheel combo. Can I use the comp clutch flywheel with the exedy clutch? I ask because most clutch companies suggest to not "mix" brands. Is this just a suggestion... or is it imperative. Thanks in advance for the answer.
If it matters. It's a b18a block and y80 tranny

i havent got a chance to check if it spins when its off the tranny, the sun went down.
