i have a problem my 92 eg hatch chokes and turns off after i accelerate its a d15b7 please anyone have any suggestions .......

 

does it do it when the car isnt moving like just rev it up? or only when your driving?

 

YES IT DOES IT ONCE I ACCELERATE I LET GO OF THE CLUTH A LITTLE AND IT WILL MOVE BACK AND FRONT BUT YOU REV IT AND IT CHOKE I THEY TOLD ME MAYBE ITS THE FUEL PUMP AND THE CAR HAS BEEN STOPPED FOR A WHILE SO IT HAS A LITTLE BIT OF GAS AND OLD GAS ???

alright man sorry about that.... ok when you turn on the car it stays on iddle but its a rough iddle, then when you accelerate the car will choke , but ill put it in gear and let go of the clutch and it will move front with no problem its when i accelerate only, the car was stopped for a while and it has the old gas maybe like more than 6 months i was told to put fresh gas and maybe its the fuel pump ......

i need new wires or my wires are on wrong ?

 

could be fuel pump or check ur plugs and wires
