EG acting funny
Ok so I just got about a $500 tune up with new axles and such.
Before my EG use to do this, while I was driving I hit the gas, nothing, than hit it some more, and I have to wait before the power or anything kicks in. After the tune up (3 weeks ago) it was fine untill I drove it today.
On the highway I hit the gas hard, and felt nothing than it just kicks in after 3 secs of hitting the gas. Could this be a fuel pump problem? or a dirty filter, injector?

Re: EG acting funny (the_0ne)
well it sounds like a definite throttle response question...have you checked your throttle cable to make sure that it isnt sticking? Also like you said you might have to get some fuel injector cleaner...fuel filters are supposed to last the life of the car so i doubt that the problem is there

Re: EG acting funny (BauleyCivic)
since when are fuel filters supposed to last the life of the car? I usually change mine every 40 to 50k. Try blowing through a fuel filter that has had 100k miles on it with shitty gas.

Re: (granada_sun)
Am I the only one that thinks a $500 tune up should include a new filter? Anyway change air filter, fuel filter, spark plugs and check wiring to the main sensors in the intake manifild. If that doesn't help look into the distributor and further in to the fuel system.
