Eg ls swap..car sputters like its out of gas when gas gets kinda low
only happens whe it gets about a little less than a 1/4 tank..then car will sputter out and if i let it sit after like 20 min it will be fine enough to get gas.. then its fine as long as it has gas..any ideas

i have a brand new fuel pump.. its a obd1 ls swap..it only starts sputterin when its kinda low on gas .. and if i keep drivin it it will die.. and ill let it sit a few more minutes and its fine.. its got a new fuel pump.. keeps doin it

somebody help...Like exampple today while out i drove my car to bout id sale 1/8 tank.. and it started sputterin out and eventually died and would start but then stop running ..(like its out of gas..) i let set for 20 minutes started up .. drove good enough to get to the gas station.. i put 10 dollars in.. not it runs perfect

simple fix... keep gas in your car.
ive always wondered why people run there cars until its on E, and then wonder why they need fuel pumps...
i fill me **** up when it gets near a 1/4, if not, a half... i keep mine full.
its not like youre spending more money...

i think you got it wrong.. i asked what you guys thought the problem was.. its not like its sooo low.. it should not be doin this.. Simply keepin gas in it is obvious..but i dont want to cause anymore problems not taking care of one in the first place..i dont run it low often..sometimes it happens..please just give me useful info.. not tryin to be a smartass

well your pump uses the gas around it to cool it down which is why you shouldn't let it go below 1/4 tank. maybe it's been done too many times and your pump just needs more than 1/4 tank to function "normal."
