Some simple questions about speakers
What are the speaker sizes for the front and rear speaker on a 00 teg?
And what would be a good setup without an amp, good sound quality and some bass? Refering to regular speakers only, I don't want any sub boxes. Just some speakers to replace the stock ones.

It should be, [in hatch] standard 6.5" front and rear, [not to be confused with "over-sized" 6.5"].
A "high power" HU and 4 good speakers that are custom installed will get you very good sound.
I run ans Alpine HU and four 6.5" custom installed speakers in my 94LS, no subs or off board amps.

Feel free to IM me if you have more questions.

Thanks for the info STK B16 and fcm.
I have an alpine cda-9855 in terms of a headunit. I think it would be adequte enough, right?
What speakers would get the job done? Not a speaker expert, but what speakers come in 6.5? Should I get both components, 3 way, a mix or what? Opinions on MB Quart?

Getting the job done is completely relative.
Go to a local stereo shop and have them show you a bunch of different setups, and from there you can decide on what you want to do.
Personally I have a good kenwood headunit, modest 2 channel amp with components in the front doors, as well as large sub amp with a single 12" woofer in the trunk.
The biggest advice I can give you is to go to a local stereo shop though

Looking for something similar. What are some speakers that you guys recommend that knock?
I'm also in your shoes. Don't want any amp, subs, just some speakers that pump out good sound. At least for the girlies to be able to hear outside the car, lol

Cool, thanks. Exactly what I wanted to know
Can I get away with using my stock 97 Integra head unit? Or will I really not see any improvement if I don't get a high output HU? Thanks.

Yes, you can with those speakers. The biggest difference in how things sound is the speaker itself.
While I wouldn't reccomend running those speakers off a factory deck, as long as you don't crank it too much you won't have problems.

I would HIGHLY recommend that you get a headunit with an internal high-pass crossover.
This way you can limit the amount of low, low bass that goes to these tiny speakers. By doing so, you will be able to listen to the system louder without distortion

Thanks guys. Nice to know. I'm completely clueless when it comes to audio equipment.
I think I'm gonna pick up those speakers this summer a_s_ol_ and I if I decide to buy a HU then I will look into one with an internal high-pass crossover rcurley55.
Thanks fellas
