Since nobody replied in my last thread i figured I would make a new one :D

Can you guys tell me if that mark to the right of center is advanced or retarded?

 

i don't know what engine you have, but on my b18c theres a white mark and a red mark, the white mark is 0, and the red mark is 17 degress advance

 

The mark to the right is going to mean retarded, not advanced.

 

what do you mean to the right? looking from what direction, if you're standing in front of the car its more like top and bottom. but anyway, one mark is 0 the other is +17, mine has no mark for retard

 

Sorry for the lack of information. This is on the D16Y8 engine. Also i'm looking at it from the side of the car from directly above, not from front. So it is on the mark to the right of center. If this is retarded then i'll go put it back to mark to left of center, the one furthest from the white mark.

yes looking at the marks from the drivers side of the car. Then the mark to the right of the center mark is retarded.
