ok, so my car decided to give me **** all of a sudden. driving home the other day the car sputtered and died. i started it back up again and it ran until i gave it gas and it died again. check ecu, code 14, idle air control valve. so i have about 7 intake manis, i pulled one and replced it and the car fired right up. about an hour later i got the same problem except the car didn't die this time it just sputtered hard under acceleration. so i tried yet anohter iacv and still got the same ecu code. obviously there is something VERY wrong here and perhaps one of you out there may know. thanks...

 

Well if your 100% sure the IACV is good and all your vacume lines are ok, fuel related maybe?
its possible but i dont know why its throwing a code 14

 

well i really don't know how to test them. but i would think the chances of three of them beingbad would be pretty outrageous. as far as i can tell everything is hooked up correctly, but i did notice that one of my friends shirked his duties a little and jerry rigged my o2 sensor wire with a butt connector so i am throiwng code 1 also. someone else suggested a clogger fuel filter perhaps. that to me makes a ton of sense, but like you say, that would not explain that code 14.
