Default SRS Light on, no horn, no cruise control...

ok. got the car bought a year ago. about 2 months ago, the SRS light turned on for no reason since nothing was done to the car. at the same time, i lost my cruise control as well as the horn.

first solution was to check fuses... all good and nothing.
second solution was to change the SRS unit... did that and nothing.

as a third solution, i was told it could the the clock spring in the steering column since that would be the only reason why all 3 things would cut out... i ordered the part for cheap, but dont wanna go through the trouble for nothing.

do you guys have any experience or any ideas on what it could be? honda is charging $95 just to diagnose... and for that, i might as well spend it on the solution.

thanx

yeah that has to be. i just installed a euro-r steering wheel the other day. the clock spring does wire those three things. if this helps....the airbag is a complete separate wire. and the horn's connected to the cruise control. basically. no cruise control. no horn. i learned that this week. its kinda stupid. lol. but my best bet is the clock spring. i say go to a junk yard and part it out! lol

not sure what the clock spring is but there is a cable reel that went bad on mine and that was the culprit with the horn and cc not working so that was the fix. not a cheap part but def fixable
