VTi motor (D15B) is a great turbo platform - i'm scared the comp isn't low enough though.. Bense has a good idea of what's great for low comp turbo platform - and GREAT knowledge about trannys too.

DO NOT USE THE VX TRANNY!!! They are geared for mpg and definately not for speed. Use the tranny that comes with your motor or use a DX,SI/EX. How much boost you can run on a stock motor usually depends on the tune. With a good tune you can run 7psi on high test. You might want to get a better fuel pump, maybe some injectors, and a fuel pressure reg. You should try d-series.org...they have a bunch of boosted single cams. Good luck!

i will tell u from recent experience do not use the vx/cx tranny with the d15b is is slow as dog **** runnin backwords. i have a d15b with an 92-95 ex/si tranny and just regular bolt ins (i/h/e etc..) i love the way the car feels and i still get pretty good gas mpg. i keep up with cars that i know are alot faster than mine ... wither way u wonty be disapointed the car is very responsive when u hit the gas.. no hesitation what-so-ever. let me know how the boost goes i plan on boosting mine soon or going to the K side lol
