JUST AS it says above. . . i just just just got done putting everything together on my turbo kit. . i was wondering if i can run it without any fuel managament or any new injectors or anything. . . does it need to be tuned ? or can i drive it now??
hellllllll NOOOOOOO
unlless u can get the boost all the way down and u know its not gonna spike or the safest route u can open ur waste gate all the time untill u get the money or time
just get injs and an mangament of some type vafc should be last choice or in conjuntion with chrome, neptune, hondata

and even if u do get management, make sure its actually "managing" correctly (get it tuned correctly)

I get a lot of people I tell to bring me cars on stock MAP, injectors, ECU, *and under no circumstances hit boost*, but you can drive the car otherwise.
Then I get emails about how their car runs fine, just like stock!, until they hit boost and then CEL and stumble and falls on it's face, and OMG IS SOMETHING BAD HAPPENING?
So the official line is now, "call a rollback to take it to your tuner," because the only people who ask this question seem to be the ones who can not understand the answer they get because they have no idea what is going on. If you'd read a basic turbocharging primer, Corky Bell's Maximum Boost for example, you'd have enough basic theory to logic all this out yourself. But you don't. Don't drive it. Call a rollback when it's time to tune it.

Well put.... most people do not have the self-restraint to not boost it even when not tuned, which is why they bought a turbo setup and put it on with out some sort of engine managment, no self-restraint

YES! u can drive it perfectly fine it will run just like stock...but rev it pass 3k and don't put a load on it(gasing it) till its tuned with proper fuel management or whichever an fmu is still better then no management such as hondata, crome, uberdata, neptune etc...
but if u have bigger injectors and stock ecu most likely it won't crank over...
