For proper ALS operation, timing needs to be retarded to ATDC in order for combustion to start once the exhaust valves are open. Use fuel to keep EGTs under control.

As far as s300 then... is there not a "proper" way of using Anti-lag would it just be considered a 2 step or 3?

True ALS setups require some way to bypass air around the throttle body while off throttle. Hondata offers a 'drag style' antilag rather than a traditional rally style ALS. The Hondata setup is simply there to build boost before launching, as opposed to maintaining boost pressure while off throttle.

Experiment and keep an eye on EGTs and the boost gauge.
