vehicle shakes at 55
i just changed the pcm in my friends 99civic ex auto. it had a code for the iac. i dont remember the number but to find out whats wrong with it i had to diagnose it. going through the steps. i swaped the pcm with a rebuilt one. as soon as i plug it in the CEL went off and it didnt rev up and down funny. i didnt have enough time to test drive. but she called me and said the car shakes. any ideas on what it could be. anyhelp would be nice. thanks
if it's bouncing at 55mph and not when she is braking, the wheels need to be balanced ($20 for all tires at most tire shops). If it is when she is braking, she might need to get new rotors or at least get them resurfaced.
