anyone ever run the bearing tangs on the intake side?
I know honda assembles the engine with the bearing tangs on the exhaust side, this is also how i've always assembled them, but i pulled my buddys engine apart and the bearing tangs were on the intake side (rod bearings).
He's got JE 9:1's on eagle rods. The wrist pin locks are the stupid spiro locks (which aren't re-useable and a PITA to remove). The engine was run like this for about 10,000kms.
Have you guys ever run the engine with the bearing tangs on the intake side?
