Default nasty idle and dont tell me to search!

ok i just picked up a 94 coupe with a single cam vtec motor for $200. the only thing wrong with the car is it idles anywhere between 1800-3000rpm! and i have to run the car open header while i have an exhaust made. this is a big problem when im drivin by a cop and i have the mindset to push the clutch in to only find the car gets louder.

now there are no vacuum leaks anywhere. BUT the tps sensor is broken. i figured that could be the problem but i was ****** around with the throttle body and noticed a port on the lower left side of the TB and when i plugged it with my finger, idle drops to under 1000rpm. does this port have to do with the tps sensor?? how the hell do i fix this problem??? thanks alot

A port on the inside of the throttle body? That probably leads to the IACV.

Start by fixing the broken TPS and see where that puts you. The TPS is needed for correct idling operation.
