Default Just purchased viper 791xv. what else should i add on to stay safe?

i wanna get power door actuators because i assume it doesnt come with them. but what other sensors should i get to add onto the system?

You only need actuators if your car doesn't already have power locks.

As far as extras, definitely get a battery backup. Extra sirens (inside the cabin) are nice. You could add a dual stage motion sensor, or a tilt sensor, or a glass break sensor, or even a window rollup module. Sky's the limit... How deep are your pockets???

are the backup batters model specific or universal? should i look for a viper one? and i dont already have power locks lol.

dei backup battery part number 520t. its universal and it triggers the alarm if your battery is disconnected.

im assuming you still have a newer hatch. mines an eg but i got an extra actuator and put in my tailgate to pop my back glass, its possible you could do the same on your liftgate.

Yes. Door lock actuators are universal. All you need to know is how to wire up a relay. (Most alarm instructions show you how)

yeah if you go to best buy you can get harada actuators the pat # is a dla-01 their about $20 unless you know someone that works there then their about $7. the haradas are pretty nice their thin, have a built in clutch, and a 90 second thermal reset, to protect them selves from damage. dei makes the same one but it costs more and most shops stock their cheaper model. but if anything on my car the haradas worked best cause their only 5/8" thick.

Window rollup is pimp. You don't know how many people stop and stare when I rs the car and then roll down the windows from the remote.

i just got my viper 791xv 3 weeks ago
i have a 98 hatch and i add power door locks.
dei backup battery
dei backup horn
only thing i dont like is the door locks are loud when used

next step is low-jack

and if someone can get passed all that,they can just have the damn car lol
