Default so whats the next step

i want to get 300whp out of my 92 accord sedan. here's what im thinking i should do (i have 2000 dollars as of now):

first get accesories such as i/h/e, pulleys, cam gear, clutch and whatever else is needed.

then rebuild the engine (f22a1) and after rebuilding boosting the engine. my question is what turbo will give me 300whp and start spooling after 3000rpms?

what other accesories will i need? plus i need a new clutch badly, so what clutch do you guys recommend i get? does anyone have a boosted cb7 making over 300whp that could recommend anything or list a setup? thanks for any help in advance.

and yes it's running great right now, i made sure i fixed everything wrong with it before starting to modify it.

If yo buy the turbo kit, it should come with intake and header (turbo header). As for exhaust, the bigger tha better. Look at turbo kits on

Yep..intake and headers would be a waste of money cuz youd be taking them back off when/if you turbo it...save up as they said...rebuild and THEN slap a turbo kit on..make sure its a good on and make sure you have the right person rebuilding/turboing your car...and make sure you get it put on a dyno and get everything timed right!...do it right the first time cuz trust me if you dont youll be spending double the money just a few words of advice

do some searching you could probably find all the answers to your questions. Have a look at http://www.cheapturbo.com from there all you will need is intercooler piping intake turbo manifold and downpipe. then you need to think about fuel delivery and engine management, as for a clutch look at exeddy clutchmasters and act, you will need at least a 30 torque capacity. You wont get 300whp by slapping a turbo on but you could get into the 240 range, to get 300+ you will have to do major block work low comp pistons...the list goes on

Get a custom turbo setup fabricated for your car. You will usually make better power with a custom setup as opposed to a mass produced kit. As far as cheap mods, a lighter flywheel and some lightened pulleys would help...check out http://unorthodoxracing.com/ and http://www.advancedclutch.com/ for those cheaper mods I was talking about.

thanks for the replies and yeah i know some block work will be needed and i'll also have to build the engine so it can handle in excess of 10psi. probably will never see more than 15psi ever because i want it to realiable and not break down 30k miles later.

anybody have a custom turbo setup or any turbo set up that will produce 300whp or more on a f22a1 (with the block built, or without, read somewhere of a guy who got 313whp on a stock block f22.)
