I got a b16a2 in my ek right now and wondering if I can use a magnaflow straight through design resonator 2.25 inlet/outlet as a test pipe? my setup would probably be stock b16 header, magnaflow resonator, 2.25 custom piping and rsx type-s muffler.

what do you guys think it'll sound like??

Shouldn't sound too bad as long as you have a cat, I suppose. Oh, wait... Seeing as how you'll be running through the stock exhaust manifold, a deeper version of a weedeater. Try it and find out, I guess

 

they is no reason to take your cat out on a relatively stock B16, please leave it in so I dont have to hear and smell your car

 

i don't have a cat and we don't have emissions up here in canada, so not worried about smog or anything. i figure of just running a test pipe or equivalent the magnaflow resonator. instead of buying a cat.
