I'm starting to create quite a large collection of spent rotors. Is there any special way to dispose/recycle them? Or do most just toss them in the dumpster?
I have thrown them out in the past, however, if you have a decent amount (which I am also starting to aquire) I am sure if there is a metal recyling place around, I am sure they would be willing to take them off your hands. They may even give you a little money per pound.
you can probably take them into any dealership. most dealerships have guys who come around and collect metal. i don't think you'll get anything for them though.
Aint steel prices going sky high? So a pile of old rotors won't even get you enough for a $0.79 chicken taco from del taco?? The hell you say. Do it anyway! Do it for the children.

The county recycling center near my house takes scrap metal and 4 tires per visit.
I just wish they took brake fluid.
Oil and antifreeze = a given.... but brake fluid is hard to get rid of.
