alternator issues HELP!!!

Default alternator issues HELP!!!

I have a 94 civic hatch with a b16a2 my alternator went bad,so I ordered a new 1 from a 94 delso vtec cause they have b16's, my problem is when I put the bottom bolt in the top doesnt line up rt...did i order it from the wrong yr car, cause the 1 that was on there lined rt up.....any help would b greatful

put the 2 side by side and see if they are the same part. and are you putting it back on the right way

did you convert to an OBD1 alternator when you did the swap? If you didn't the plugs will be different for sure.
I thought the mounting was the same but I'm not 100%.

well not the alternator brackets probably because you have an obd1 alternator and are trying to put it on the obd2 motor (p.s. see if you can order a del sol alternator bracket if you can)

I just bought some B series brackets for $25 here on H-T...when I get them hopefully they r different from the 1 I got now
