Default 90crx si w/ obd1 gsr swap, Do I have to use obd1 alternator?

I have searched and only found for sale items. I have a 90 crx si w/ a obd1 gsr swap. I was going to oreder a 94 integra gsr alternator but was wondering if I can you use any b-series obd1 ord obd0. Does it have to be an obd1 alternator?

Not sure about the mounting but the plug should be the same, only OBD2 is different

All im worried about it if the obd0 would function w/obd1. I wouldent see why it wouldent. I know the plugs are the same and the mounting isnt a problem. I have a b16a alternator laying around and was trying to decide if I should try it or just go get a obd1 alternator.

function is the same between all of them, just the difference in plug styles on OBD0/1 and OBD2

look at the tag on the alternator....there are 4 letters on there. Just match the letters up when you repin the new plug. I repined my crx to run an obd2a type-r alternator and have had no problems.
