ok like the post said but it still overheat timing belts kool any ideas

 

How about you actually describe your problem. It over heats, okay.

When does it over heat? On the highway, in the city, all the time, sometimes, does the fan engage, is there sufficient coolant, any noticible coolant leaks or loss????

 

check your theromostat...could be stuck closed

 

oh srry it startin when i was parked and coolant its full the thermosta new but its a 160 degree can that be the cause also im running a auto raditar but ill check the fan

Let it just idle for a while. If the fan doesn't engage and it is over heating it will help you pinpoint the problem. As for the T-stat, it is best to always go with OEM because you know it is for the right temperature. When you replaced it/changed your water pump did you make sure you got all the air out?

II think he is saying that the timing belt is working properly, but the car still overheats with the new water pump.

To the original thread starter, did you bleed the system correctly?
