fans do not run
Today i changed the timing belt/water pump on my 94 integra. I added new coolant, however the car is overheating. i attribute the cause to the fans, which are not working. I checked the fuse for the fans and it apears to be fine. Could this be a relay? I did spill coolant on one of the fans. What else could cause the fans not to run.
thanks

Spilling coolant on the fan would have nothing to do with it. Find the thermo temp switch. Its faulty.
Once the coolant reaches a certain temp it will click the fans on.
"ON" Temperature 196 - 203°F (91 - 95°C)
"OFF" Temperature Subtract 5 - 14 °F (3 - 8 °C) From On Temperature

Bingo!!
I installed a flushing tee in the upper heater hose under the intake hose to use as a bleeder because I had this very problem after changing coolant.

Same for me. The car has never over heated but the fan does not work. I made a thread about this a while ago. On mine I tested the fan and relay and they work so either i have a bubble or a bad sensor. Once i'm done with school i'll figure it out.
