Bad tranny bearing?
My friend has a little problem. When his clutch pedal is off something is humming, when he push the pedal it stops. I think it is some bearing in the tranny?
Is this possible?
If yes, whichone it can be? Is there some more common one?

Are you sure that it can be a throwout bearing?
I think that it is some bearing inside the tranny. Becouse if he push the clutch pedal it is OK, but if the pedal is off it is humming so trany is working and throwout bearing didnt.
Maybe I am wrong

This is for a hydraulic-clutch transmission, but the procedure is similar: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=596873

It may be "easier" to replace the tranny, but it is cheaper to replace the $50 input shaft bearing - and if the rest of the tranny is good, it's a waste of a perfectly good transmission. Good cable-clutch transmissions don't exactly grow on trees, especially in some other countries. If you can drop a trans, you can replace the ISB; it's not hard at all.
