just got a new torch..
as some of you may or may not remember from this thread: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1623843 , Ive been looking for a new torch for my thermal arc tig. I called and emailed several companies looking for the right torch. I wanted something small I could fit in tight areas. weldingsupply.com was absolutley no help, they said I had to give them a part number if I wanted something, and they couldnt look for a torch for me. I emailed tigdepot.com and I must say their service was top notch. I told them what I needed, and they suggested a type 24 torch with a flex head. I ordered it monday, and I recieved it today. In the pics you can see how small it actually is(might be smaller than needed). It also came with a superflex cable. after seeing how flexible the cable is, Im gonna have to upgrade the cable on the torch that came with my welder, or just buy a new torch kit from tigdepot.. anyways, on to the pics.

Told ya tigdepot.com was the best in customer service! I love those guys! That thing is flippin tiny! Do they even sell tungsten that small?! haha. You could buy one 7" piece of tungsten, and get 7 individual pieces out of it! HAHA. Congrats man! Hope you enjoy it!

yea, I got it with the intentions of using it to weld inside of collectors,a nd other tight areas. It was like $186 plus shipping, and I also had to get the adapter so it could fit my machine. still have yet to use it, but Ill prolly try it out tomorrow to see how it does

yeah, let us know how well it works with welding in tight collectors. i've alwasy wonder how someone gets the torch and filler rod into the that tight spot.
