Default Milky Milky Milky stuff????

Yup ive searched and searched and seen pics but cant recognise whats wrong, i have a small leak in the usual place, between head and block under the cam seal, checking that properly on the weekend.

The motor is a brand new Benson long block (B20/vtec), starts fine, no oil in the colant or anything, but..... i checked under my oil cap and there is a pure white cream, milky stuff, quite thick looking aswell.

Could be headgasket but i doubt it, everythings brand new, oil dosent look like its mixed with the colant as its not the usual browny colour but pure white/creamy, what could it be ??????

i can say that up here in NewEngland the drastic atmospheric changes during the overnight can cause condinsation in the valve cover when you have big breather lines but it should go away after a few minute drive down the road.

if it is really thick and doesn't go away, your leaking somewhere. most likely the headgasket and in most cases you won't even see it on the dipstick till you've hurt the bearings.

try draining the oil and seeing what it looks like in a pan. most likely you will see some creamy stuff.

As its not even tuned yet the most ive driven it is for about 2 minutes just around my block, not even long enough to get really hot, highest revs its been to is about 4k. ( Its running NA at the mo with a EM1 ecu).

Il try and drain the oil this weekend, but yeh your right when i look at the dip stick it looks perfect, like brand new oil.

you might want to call benson its ether a head gasket or a leaking sleeve but benson is a good guy he will take care of it
