He's right about a K setup that runs high 10's on spray costing you 10k. 5k my ***, you are kidding yourself.

Jeff can be a little pompous, but he knows what he's talking about.

Uh, that sounds about right. 175whp netting 12s is sorta pushing it though.

K swap is going to cost you 7-10K easy, and it very much so is a better swap than an H. Ks absolutely crave mods, and 6 speed > 5 speed any day.

You need to look at more than just the stock numbers when you say the h is a better swap than the k.

We have a haif-tuned K over here making more torque to the wheels on a Dynojet than the H22 makes HP at the flywheel. NA no less.

Remember how you started the conversation:

hi jeff my name is dion im interested in building the fastest allmotor/nitrous setup possible what i want i something that will put me in low 12s high 11s all motor and low 11s high 10s on spray this is gonna be a street/race car what do you suggest

thanks
</TD></TR></TABLE>

That statement and your budget do not compute.

i have had a 11 sec turbo motor built under 5k so know your **** please before you jump on me</TD></TR></TABLE>

You do understand the differences between making both turbo and NA/N2O engines reliable and streetable, don't you?

Youre not going to garner any respect by telling everyone they dont know what theyre talking about.

I remember shorty as well, but just dropping his name doesnt really prove a point.

Youre asking for a setup that ill run high 10's on the bottleand still be streetable/reliable. It just wont happen on a 5k budget, unless you get everything for free and do all the labor yourself.

Well, it sure wasnt clear in your emails... You never mentioned anything about having the motors already...
Jeff probably assumed your budget was for the complete swap and upgrades too...

I have dealt with IB in the past and can vouch for Jeff.. He knows his **** and has helped me out alot on my old motor and the current motor in my car now...

IB a joke? wow you must really have no clue how long this guy has been building and designing custom applications. IB was shipping fully built crate motors capable of pretty much anything you wanted just a few years ago.
