haha from google images the piston rings and valve seals doesnt seem to be expensive.
1.how much would this cost to fix including labor?
2would the piston need to be replaced also?
3what do you need to do in order to replace the piston rings?

They rip the motor apart. Take out the crank, rods and pistons. Replace the rings, and put everything back togeter, a good time to do bearings since it's already all apart, maybe a new t-belt and waterpump since it's all torn down. Pistons are only replaced if they are burnt, cracked or have a whole in them, and when there's that much damage to the piston, you have more issues then a little bit of smoke.
yes those parts are cheap to replace, but it the replacing part that will get you. labor downtime, shoptime ect that will run you into some money, it is just cheaper to buy a new motor or block whatever is easier for you...... plus the parts are cheap but its a major ordeal to rebuild a engine
listen, if you have added and intake or headers your probably running rich, don't listen to these people right off the bat. Any up-grade w/o tuning could cause you to run to lean -10 or to rich +13 mabye this is the cause, if you been redlining all damn day and not giving your motor a rest then yes it could be a piston ring, head-gasket or something of the sort.
I also see that you barely have over 100k miles which shouldn't be blown piston rings and you said it's an auto, so most likely that takes away that situation.

No, they can be replaced with the engine in the car.

Call a shop. Honestly it's not hard to do, just do it yourself, you'll learn something and save a lot of money. It can be done in an afternoon.

Its not that easy. What if your cyclinder wall's are out of round or tapered. then they have to bore them out, you have to buy oversized pistons & the rings to accomodate them. Then they measure the crank, if its out of round or tapered on any of the journals, they have to regrind it, get oversized bearings. Oh and dont forget they have to check for warpage on both cyclinder head and block. I've personally rebuild two d16a6's and one of them had over 200k on it and i did not have to resurfaced the head or deck the block or regrind the crank. Good luck with your decision!
