HASport Billet Mounts......
I purchased some of the new HASport billet motor mounts to use in my girlfriend's 91 CRX. I'm installing a 96 B18B1 motor and I was wondering since they made a few minor changes to the placement, is it necessary to pound a dent on the driver's side for alternator pulley clearance? Her car was white from the factory and was painted black about 2 years ago. The engine bay wasn't painted so while the motor is out I'm prepping it and getting ready to paint it this weekend. I'd like to know if the dent is necessary so I can do that before I paint the engine bay.
Yes it is necessary.
You will also need a new drivers side engine bracket since the one on there now has side by side mounting bolts and the hasport mounts mount it using a diagonal pattern.

Yeah I already bought a new 93 Integra timing belt side bracket and rear engine bracket. I guess I'll pound it in a little and shoot the paint on Sunday
I think I'll try lowering the motor/tranny in for a test fitment before I paint though.

Sounds like a good plan. I used the new billet mounts on my b16 swap and it was necessary for me to dent in the framerail to clear the pulley.
I'll post some pics of the install once I'm all finished with it. I've been taking lots of photos, taking into account the cost of parts, making parts lists and wiring diagrams. I plan to make a webpage about everything in detail of the swap. I did the same thing when I installed my B18C1 into my 92 VX but my computer messed up shortly after that and I lost all the pics
I can't wait to get this thing out on the road because I've never drove an LS powered CRX. It's been a lot of work to piece together the full swap, even more work doing the auto to manual conversion and stripping everything from the motor bay so I can paint it.
