Default Bracket?

Hey some guy was telling me that if i was doing the ls swap into my 91 crx that i needed some sort of bracket??? i am purchasing hasport mounts for the swap and i really didnt know what he was talking about so will some1 inform me on what he was talking about??? thanks

sounds like the rear bracket......if Im not mistaken you need one off of a 90-93 Integra. It attaches to the block/transmission and then to the rear motor mount.

Do you "have" to have it.....maybe not, but its pointless to run hasport mounts and then only put 4 out of the 5 in (or 3/4 in some cases). I've seen people not put in one of the mounts and end up breaking other mounts, it is also part of what holds the transmission to the engine, so yes.....it is very important and in my opinion a "must."
