Please Help.Loss of power.
Well today i was driving my car (00 Si) and i notice that the car is for some reason slower. Am like WTF i let the Vtec kick in Ok now more problems it doesn't sound the same. By the way i haven't hit vtec or drove this car hard for a good two weeks. So i keep hitting vtec over and over again. OK so where getting somewhere now it sounds better. What could the problem be. One modifications as of right now is a K&N Short Ram Intake. thanks.

Ok when you pop your hood, look on the left hand side by the distributor and you'll find a greenish plug. Unhook the electrical harness and remove the metal plate. This is done easier with a pair of plier's that way you dont strip the threads with a phillips. Next you will need a 22mm open ended wrench to back out the solenoid. Note: your car must be running. While it is running have a rag handy and the wrench, now back the plug out slowly until oil drip's out, let it go for a minimum of 10-15 seconds, dont take the plug all the way out, you'll loose a quart of oil, just far enough until oil comes out. Let it run until it's a nice consistent stream. This should eliminate any air pocket's in your system. Try it and let me know.
