i have a 97 gsr and im trying to wire my electronic oil pressure gauge but i dont know where to installed the oil sensor...can you guys give a brother a hand? thanx

 

You can run a line from the original sender location to the firewall, then use a tee fitting mounted on the firewall to run your original oil sender to operate the warning light on the dash, and also connecting the new sender unit for the gauge.

Or not, I have a mechanical oil pressure gauge and I hooked it up at the original oil sender's location, bypassing the original warning system. I just keep an eye on the gauge.
