close rule of thumb..1 lb of boost = 10psi.. now u get more on a cold night..witht the air being more dense..

d16z6 = 127 plus 90ish

if you want to read sick numbers on stock sohc engines taking decent boost
http://www.epictuning.com click projects and look for the 91 blk hatch with d16z6
they got 305 with stock block and just broke 11.60s at englishtown

they run a neptune program done by evans tuning

more like 190-200WHP,figure at most 10hp/1psi + 100whp stock=190 give or take a few hp per stock motor since you didnt specify. with an aggresive tune it might see 225whp but alot of that depends on the efficiency of the turbo and a bunch of other things.

Depending on the turbo and the tune, it could be making from 180-215whp @ 9psi.

Ummmm don't forget that the 127hp is at the crank and isn't that much to the wheels. I would say 170-190whp... I really doubt 230whp at 9psi unless he's done other mods and good tuning.

It's very possible but in most cases isn't that high... didn't he ever dyno-tune it? if not then probably isn't one of those 230whp cases

9 psi on a 48 trim turbo verses a 60 trim are two different storys. SO telling us a T3 doesnt help a whole lot. Is it a small volvo turbo, a super 60 or something else?
