Gains from increasing CR by 1.9 points...?
This is in my 95 JDM GSR engine and Ill be using the stock head. CR will go from 10.6- 12.5. Also the usual i, h, e, JUN flywheel. Id dyno it but it isnt in the car yet...
Anyway I was just wondering if with that setup it'd put me and my hatch consistantly in the 13's. Im a decent driver so no worries there. Thanks for any input.

What pistons are you putting in? CTRs? They would probably give you a few horsepower. Most likely 10-15 at the most.
Make sure you can get some good gas where you're at. 12.5 is pretty high

They are JE 12.5:1 pistons. I use 94 octane pump gas and im retarding ignition timing 3 degrees. Soon ill get a VAFC and a FPR and have it all tuned.
Seems like the increased compression won't be fully realized until you have some good cams to go along with it.

I think the general rule, not taking outside cirumstances into play (like agressive cams) , is around 5 HP per a point. But, the higher the compression the more you can "take-advantage" (the best way to put it) of tuning and extra mods. So you might see 10hp if that is all you do, but once you start adding mods that # will incease substanially.
