hey guys i new to honda tech but knew about it for a long time..........i have a trouble code delima withmy 1995 acura integra.-it has bout 145k plus on the dash never really any problems like this b 4 ..so i guess here goes the delima.....................

first of all the- maint.reqiured light- came on about 2 weeks ago and gave 10 consecutive times everytime i started the car this went on for like about one week and i didn't have the time to jump the connector and check the code. (let me fastfoward here alittle)......

i need to make an emergengy trip to buffalo which was 9 hours away and had to put an extra 1000 plus miles on the car with the code,mind u the car runs fine no obivious mechanical problem...no nosies or anything of the sort.

the next day after my trip when i started my car the -maint. required light- came on and STAYED ON STEADY LIT AND WON'T COME OFF AND NOW IT REMAINS ON AND JUS WON'T GO AWAY.

I then proceeded to jump the wires out with a paper clip and i got some codes tht was kinda funny.
the ABS LIGHT was doing the flashes and here r the flashes.......the first one was 4 long and pause and one short.........................
the other one which i guess repeated it self twice was 6 or 7 long and 1 short............i gotta double check these flashes but its strange to me tht the ABS LIGHT is throwin the flashes and the light remains on.................please i need some major help with this one guys........and thing and everything will b much appericated

If it's the Maint' Required Light your talking about it's no big deal. It's there from the factory to remind you about oil and preventative maintence and all that jazz. Comes on after about 7500 Miles I believe.

Turn the key to the on position and hold the button for like 10 seconds. Its located under the dash by the steering wheel. If you lay on your floor and look up youll see it. Its either blue or green square

 

yo as soon as i got the reply i ran to my car and try it and IT WORKED......the funny thing is i know this and was doing the reset the wrong way....much thanks ....honda tech rocks .........no more yellow light............yeeeee haaaaa
