caliper bolt
How the hell did you guys get yours off. I been going at this bolt for like a day and a half. I used liquid wrench and i really don't have the money to get them done by a shop.
what is your problem...if you cant reach it..put an extension on ur socket wrench...on one of them you can actually take a wrench and stick it through a small area and get it easy....it took me like 2 minutes to get mine off
are you talking about the actual caliper bolt or caliper braket bolt...cuz if you are talkin about the caliper bolt..those things are easy as hell to get off...braket bolts are a little harder but still arent hard
If you talking about the slider bolt, what may have happened is that it welded itself inside. Sounds almost impossible but on my Accord on both sides the lower slider bolt welded itself inside the bracket.
May not be the case but its a possibility. Try using a bar as an exstension for more leverage and then you should be able to remove it.

it is the bolt you need to take off so you can change your brake pads. Like on here

you really shouldnt even need a breaker bar...that bolt should be fairly easy to get off...or at least it was on my 94 accord..took me a total of like 15 seconds to get mine off

you mean WD-40? haha, someone has oil on their mind
...try PB blaster, that stuff works way better, and if you get bored you can destroy foam cups with it! and make sure your turning the right way, often time when people work on a bolt facing away from them, or they r underneath a car they turn the wrong way, a good way to make sure your always going the right way is to set the ratchet on tighten or loosen before you start trying to loosen it.

I did the same thing but with a snap-on
Got lucky though, the guy only had bigger one's than the one I had so he traded me straight across. Lucky me

i got mine off with a industrial strength air compressor and a bigass 1/2 snap-on gun at my school autoshop. haha, never tried to get it off by hand. but torqueing it down with a big *** torque wrench was a bitch, since it had to be torqued to around 180 ft.-lbs.(if i remember correctly) and i weight like 155-160 at the time, i almost had to literally stand on the thing.

i sup[pose if you were arnold schwahfgbkjhdbkz(how do u spell his name?!) and you were best friends with sylvester stalone(20 years younger) then you can get it off no problem given you have a strong enough breaker bar

3/8 air impact is the best tool for the job.
I'm guessing someone used lock-tight on that baby, or its pretty rusty-crusty. Pemetrating fluid wont help, cuz there is no way for it to get inside. I would tell you to heat it up with a torch, BUT!!!! you'll melt the rubber boot and other delicate things. take it to a shop and beg them to zap it with an air gun h then hant tighten it so u can get back home. that's what I usually do for people when they come to my work.
