Question about use of Hondata / Aeromotive FPR

Default Question about use of Hondata / Aeromotive FPR

I was sitting here pondering some stuff about my build up and I was wondering since I have a B&M FPR right now and I will have a Hondata 2b, why would I need a Aeromotive FPR instead? I shouldn't need an FPR that adds fuel based on boost since the Hondata adds duty cycle on the injectors based on boost.... correct?

Just don't want to buy something I don't really need... If I do need the Aeromotive still, can someone explain why the Hondata would not be able to compensate for the boost...??

I prefer the adjustability and consistancy of the Aeromotive vs the B&M. For the power you are ultimately shooting for, the Aeromotive is what you need - especially with that monster pump you're going to run, you won't be able to get fuel pressures down low enough with the B&M regulator, as the return is simply too small.

BTW, Hondata expects a rising rate regulator (1:1) for boosted maps.

All you need is any fpr that is 1:1 ratio and your b&m will work fine except the aeromotive looks bad *** compared to the B&M

Does the EMS expect the same 1:1 rising rate regulator? Thanks
