Default D15B Build Up

Ok so i just got this Del Sol with a D15 non-vtec in it. I was originally planning on going homemade turbo but i've had a change of heart and have decided to go high-compression all-motor. So this is the setup i've been thinking about; if theres anyone out there that has this setup or knows about it please give me feedback:

D16Y8 head (port & polish w/ 3 Angle-valve job)
2nd or 3rd stage Crower Cam
AEM adjustable cam gear
Racing vavles, springs, retainers, etc.
Edlebrock intake manifold
AEM high flow fuel rail
440cc injectors
B&M fuel pressure regulater
Hi-Comp pistons
Hondata S100 ECU(*is this good ecu for this setup or should i go w/ A'Pexi VAFC*)
light weight flywheel, stage 3 clutch
Racing Crank & Rods
Magnaflow Exhaust

P.S. im going to buy all these parts one at a time then i'll put it all on at the same time; i have about 108hp right now so about how much hp would i be at after this setup?

Turbo would be a much better use of the money IMO and use you could still use that head.

a agree that turbo would be a better alternative

you can squeeze about 200 hp out on stock internals, which is not bad

in what you're going to spend building your all motor, you can probably put together a good turbo kit. and you're going to get a lot more power out of a turbo.

w/ all that work you might have 125-130whp but i doubt it.

Damn do we have a lot of Turbo preachers in here. If he started this thread he prob did it for reason. Im going to assume its the fact that he wants to go all motor high compression SOHC like he previously stated, but thats just me...

I don't how those parts will work or wut kind of power increase they will net, but I can say that if you decide to go thru with it I would like to know the outcome. I myself have a D15B JDM Vtec, but I have to get the car running before any mods or build ups. I say go for it. Forget these boost heads, they are full of hot air. All motor SOHC!!! And if it doesnt work out to well then atleast you'll have sum stronger than stock internals so you could boost more than 10 psi.

h22 swap, after all the work to get that thing to work good in a civic, waste of time. motor is fairly cheap, but not all the work that needs to be done. do have an h22?

if you want a noticeable differance dont make the mistake most people make and try to build N/A. the only advantage N/A has over boost in a honda is autoxing where revs stay high and power is needed more consistently. if you are on any kind of budget save your money and boost.

Would you rather us wait until he makes a thread complaining about blowing $900 for a na car and it still is slow? Boost just makes sense unless the sweet sound of a turbocharger spooling makes his ear bleed for some reason.

well, dont get me wrong, seeing an all motor street driven D run 13s would tickle me, but seeing the build cost wouldnt. on the other hand spending $500-$1500 on boost and garentee running 13s w/ a descent launch tickles me even more. theres a reason so many people are boosting the Dseries (maybe its cuz they dont make much power N/a because of the small displacement.
