low boost factory internals , does any one kno?

Default low boost factory internals , does any one kno?

my buddy told ma about a delsol he seen that was runing a turbo runing 10 lbs and had factory internals he said the guy has been running it for a year and it still running smooth dos any one kno about this or has any one done it ? he said thatthe guy had a lighter tension spring in the blow off valve wat will i need to do this?

Idk about a year on stock internals with 10 pounds...but if was tuned good...he could drive it like that for a few months as a DD..unless its only a track car...as far as the blow off valve...the spring doesnt affect the turbo itself...just the life of it

then hoe would u drop the boost presure?

I believe you mean he has a lower tension spring in his wastegate. 10 lbs on a D series is probably makin no more than 200 WHP on a simple setup, so stock internals would be fine. The key to reliability is in the tuning, as everyone will tell you.

I was just about to say that. The wastegate spring is controlling the boost not the BOV.
10psi daily can be done easily. Just because he is set at 10psi doesn't mean his foot says in the gas the whole time. Reliabilty at 10psi is all in the tune...and the responsibility of the driver.
