jdm f22b dohc runnin iffy
ok 95 accord lx with jdm dohc f22b swap needing help had a check engine light checked ran 3 codes 1 3 and 43 i am running the h23 ecu and im pretty sure the garage that did the swap wired a knock sensor. i believe the codes are map sensor o2 sensor and fuel management any ideas what i should do i know i could use the p39 ecu but the only ones i can find are for auto transmissions and besides if i do have the knock sensor what would happen with the p39 ecu not needing a knock sensor
You can use an auto P39 with no problems. The automatic transmission is controlled by a separate unit. You could always just disconnect the knock sensor and leave it in the block. You should check out your O2 and MAP sensors, though.
I was told that an automatic ecu on a 5 speed would run like crap and I found a p39 ecu that was chiiped for 300 bucks and it is for an automatic f22b so I can buy that one and not worry about it being for an automatic vs a 5 speed

ok now here is another ? the h23 has a higher compression which means it needs more fuel so the ecu is telling my f22b it wants more fuel? if this is the case wouldn't it mean since the f22b is of lower compression thsat i'm sending too much fuel to the motor or was that a retarded statement?
You can't chip a p39, so I would be cautious when buying that one, plus $300 is ridiculous. An auto ECU will run a 5spd just fine, I've done it myself. You are exactly right as to why the p14 is making your f22b run rich.
so other then putting in the p39 ecu there isnt anything i could do to fix the flow of the fuel is there? and would you be able to tell me where i could get a p39 ecu too
