how often should you clean out your throttle body?
i just cleaned out my throttle body, and this has been the first time i have cleaned it out since the year 2000! how often are we susposed to clean it out?
it wasn't that dirty, but some black smoke came out when i started it. it's been about 30,000 miles since i cleaned it and my car hit 36,000 today! woohoo! no more warrenty!

Me, I'm off to change the air in my tires. Not a lot of people realize that old air does not have the same inflation properties as fresh air.

I dunno about any of you, but the back of the my TB had a lot of carbon deposits and oter black **** along with the intake manifold. Cleaning it every 30k would be a good idea.
