Hey guys. I have a 1999 Civic Si that lately has been taking 1-3 more cranks to start. Sometimes it does it sometimes it doesnt. Only happens on the first start of the day or after sitting for like 4+ hours. Stays the same whether full tank or empty, if i prime it or not. Battery is strong. cap, rotor, fuel filter, oil and plugs about 3.5k miles old.

Is this normal? What could it be?

bump for answer, i have the same problem, but before it can even crank it makes a buzzing sound when i turn it over,

 

try changing main relay see if that works

 

DId you find what the problem was??
