Anyone know if this motor has v-tech??? saw one but it did not appear to have a v-tech solenoid!!!!

 

yes, it is the usdm 97-01 motor

 

it says DOHC VTEC right on the valve cover sir!

 

actually is 99-01
97-98 had the h22a not a4

HAHAHA IF YOU DONT KNOW ANYTHING THEN JUST DONT BOTHER POSTING, NOT ONE USDM PRELUDE CAME WITH A H22A, THOSE ARE ALL OFF JDM LUDES/ACCORDS.. THE H22A4 IS A USDM 5TH GEN LUDE MOTOR, THEY ALSO HAD THE H22A1'S

All fifth-generation Preludes ( 1997-2001 ) had the H22A4 engine in it.
